Meet Dave Paulley
Dave Paulley was born and raised in a small town in northeastern Wyoming. 'In the foothills of the Black Hills', an area of old time Plains Indian and cow country, Dave began painting with the help of correspondence courses and professional help from various artists. For many years Dave painted the western scene. However, being raised in an aviation atmosphere, it was only a matter of time that he would paint airplanes along with western scenes. Dave easily converts from one subject matter to another and at this time, his love of western history has allowed him to become involved in a project dear to his heart, The Lewis & Clark Expedition.
In the last several years Dave has garnered several awards at the prestigious EAA art competition in Oshkosh, Wisconsin and recently became associated with Western Artists of America (WAA). Dave is usually in attendance as an art vendor at a number of air shows each year especially in the western United States.
Dave currently paints from his 'Western Wings Studio' in Osage where he has some original paintings on display. He is also open for commission work.
